An exemplary gentleman who was born on May 1 1917, and left this world peacefully on August 30 2010. Without his meticulous storage of those historical family documents that were not lost or destroyed during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, this pioneering family’s history, as presented here, would not have been possible.
